I have always loved old homes, the older the better. This past weekend, we spent our days shooting our entertaining book in an old house here in Southern California. Built in 1912, the Chateau Bradbury is an elegant estate that has been lovingly restored by the current owner. Besides a small ant invasion, a crazy house cat named Spot, and no electricity in the kitchen....all went surprisingly well. We propped, dressed and primped five different tables complete with food, linens and people. By the end of the weekend, we were completely exhausted and satisfied that a good job was done by all.
Thank you mom, dad, Molly, Ryan, Michael, John, Jody, Brian, Keith, Gracie, Sofia and Jon. I learned it takes a family to shoot a book!

WOW that sounds really fun and exhausting(like you said). Is this for a new book? I would love to know where the house in S.Cal is...I'm in S.Cal. and love little day trips...I'll be checking back often thanks

Hi, I can't imagine anyone not loving your books! Maybe they were expecting some cutesy oversimplified craft book. So many of them seem that way now. Well, I for one can hardly wait to see the new one. I just made some tags from "The French Inspired Home" and everyone wanted to know where I got them.
