I just haven't enough words to describe my feelings facing those extraordinary fabrics inspired by French rouenneries. Of course I've immediately ordered some pieces in USA and I'm now waiting to have them. The choice was terribly difficult as every piece is wonderful !!! Thanks for the pleasure you give us. Then I realized the fabric in the pattern was really starting to grow on me and finally tracked it down. Now that I've seen it close up I like it even better . . . but not for lamp shades or sachets or dishtowels or even a quilt. I see a summer wardrobe - skirts and pants and blouses that all mix and match! (I'm sorry - I think everyone else is limited in the scope of their vision) I'm devastated that these fabrics only come in cotton. Some of the turkey reds ought to come in a wool challis and the ivory and taupe fabrics in linen and silk as well as cotton so that the whole ensemble can transition into fall. I'm just lucky that Moda hasn't allowed you to do anything like this - my eyes and imagination are definitely bigger than my sewing budget.

CindyAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20246519.post-58034074929972195362009-10-22T16:49:59.720-07:002009-10-22T16:49:59.720-07:00I already have the Bunny Hill pattern...woo hoo......I already have the Bunny Hill pattern...woo hoo....they are gorgeous!Bella Pinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06616912446865891361noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20246519.post-10454934943640335192009-08-11T07:51:07.589-07:002009-08-11T07:51:07.589-07:00Love the new fabrics - and can't wait to desig...Love the new fabrics - and can't wait to design some of my French cross stitch designs to go with them. I don't sew, I don't quilt, however I would use the scraps to make lovely beads to mix with vintage beads and buttons. I also do mixed media art, so I would surly use it somehow there; perhaps book covers for dear friends! The line of fabrics, as all of your items, are simply heart warming.
