I've finally unpacked the boxes shipped back from Silver Bella and lo and behold I found a handful of our bracelet kits from our Charming Bracelet Workshop. This was a great first class for learning jewelry techniques - charms to glue, plenty of jump ring work and some of the girls even got fancy and linked a strand of cranberry glass beads for an extra bit of color. Since it's a special week of thanks, leave me a post about who you would like to thank - maybe you would even make the bracelet for her - and we'll pick a lucky winner (or two) on Thanksgiving. Merci!

I have a good friend who is going through some bad times, she works hard, 7 days a week, takes care of her two boys, and everyone else, and is constantly coming up with creative ideas, and helping. She deserves thanks.
My darling mum who is 85 years old and truly compassionate. Yesterday she took her her little hand garden shovel and helped her next door neighbour lay his 14 1/2 year old dog in his final resting place. Fighting back the tears she could not bear the thought of him facing the task alone.
Bless you mum.
Kaari, How generous of you. Everyone in blogland raved about your classes at Silver Bella. I am thankful for my wonderful mom. June Cleaver has nothing on her! She's warm, caring, talented, gardens and sews with aplomb, and is a hostess with the mostess! Your bracelet kit is lovely. Fingers crossed! - Amy Bauer amy@usdemolition.com
I would thank my best friend Linda. She is my friend even with all that I am going through and the baggage I carry with me.
I am thankful to have grown up next door to my dear "aunt" Nancy who was really not my aunt at all, but just my kind older neighbor. I spent my entire childhood watching her sew, knit and stitch. She has been gone for a long time now, but I owe all my craftiness to her and I am so thankful for her love and tutoring.
Thanks to you too Kari for the
chance to win that cool bracelet! dupcodeb@yahoo.com
I would give this to my sweet sister...finally pregnant after nearly 5 years of infertility. Definitely a very happy Thanksgiving for her this year!
I want to thank you for a great class and new enjoyment in making jewelry. I would love to make it for my best friend. Divorced a few years ago, she would have been a great Bella if financially possible. Just not! Have a great Thanksgiving and thanks again for a great SB class.
I would thank one of my teachers from high school. She got me through so much, and really taught me how to just keep going.
I would like to thank my best friend. I've had a lot of great friends in my lifetime but no one measures up to her.

What a great giveaway! I would love to thank my step mom. Growing up with her, I didn't always appreciate everything she did for me and my family. I took it for granted that she not only did all the cooking, cleaning, and crafting around the house, but she enjoyed it (okay maybe not the cleaning haha). As I've gotten older I've realized how much work it is to keep a house organized and fed, especially one with 10 people living in it. I realize now how much a simple 'thank you' for all the cooking (occasionally an additional small separate dish for me when she knew I wouldn't like the main dish), picking up after my mess, attending all of my many school and athletic functions, and generally being a good listener and advice giver would have meant to her. She deserves something so pretty to show off to the world!
Thanks for this generous giveaway. I would like to thank my friend Karen who is always there for me through hard times and happy times and always. She's the best! LindaSonia
There are so many people to give thanks for, certainly my family and friends. My mother comes to mind as someone really special though. She has always been there for me when I needed help and continues to be even at the age of 86. Her health is waning and I am now the one that is needed more. I certainly hope that I am doing as good a job as she has always done for me.
I'm thankful for my parents. They gave me the gift of life and the passion for the things that bring me joy daily. My first memory, sitting in my Mom's garden, with beautiful Larkspur waving their lovely flowers. Okay I was hiding, cause for some reason it was time to wash my hair and I was sure they'd never find me there! My parents, children of the depression. They were self reliant and thrifty, both wonderful traits. The ones that they passed down to me though, love of history, collecting beautiful old things and wondering what their story was. The love of nature and where to find the Tiger Lilies along a whispering Sierra creek. How to find a nest of Lady Bugs, in the damp pine needles at the base of a fir tree. Natural history gently held hands with the history of people. Who built that cabin in the woods and what was their story. My faith of Christianity was a natural part of life. I thank my mother for that. God's embrace sustains me daily. His beauty greets me in my garden, in a sunset, clouds shimmering with silver and pink. Thank you parents. I have a thankful heart and I miss you.
Oh, so pretty. I think I would want to give this to one of my best friends--we met in college and have remained close for 25 years!
I would like to thank one of my cousins who has been spending a lot of her spare time keeping our grandmother company after our grandfather passed away a few months ago. It's not easy since there is a language barrier, but that hasn't stopped her like it would a lot of other people so I salute her love and dedication to family!
I'd love to make one for my friend in Arizona. (Her husband is battling sinus cancer.)Years ago she taught me how to challenge myself and let the artist i come out of hiding and I am forever grateful. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Cheers.
I am full of gratitude. I have a family I love and whom I love. I have good friends. I have the best job in the world. I have a roof over my head and food in the cabinet. I am extremely grateful.
I would thank my 19 year old cousin who lost her Mother, two years ago. She just got a new job (which we're all thankful for) and is working hard to succeed.
Thank you, Kaari, for the opportunity. Happy Thanksgiving!
I would love to thank my wonderful Mom for always having the best attitude and making life easier for my family and I!
this is so nice of you. i am thankful for a very dear friend that helped me in a HUGE way because me and my spouse are unemployed and we've had a very tough year. it's friends like her that the world needs more of. thanks for being so nice and full of inspiration. best wishes for a lovely thanksgiving holiday.
I would thank my parents...who came and watched my children, so that I could attend Silver Bella. It was kind of win-win for all of us though. :)
I am thankful for my health and being close to my family during the holidays. I missed being close to them when we were so far away from them.

I want to thank my husband for always being there for me and taking such good care of me and my kids. :D And thank you for the giveaway too!
I'm thankful for the health of my family and a place to call home...we are so fortunate in these trying times. The ignorance of youth made life so much simpler back then.
With little family still living, I am so thankful for all my friends who have become my family. But in particular to my friend Barbara. Seeing that I was adrift some 20 years ago, she made me a part of her large family. I can never repay her for the stability she has given me including her tough love.
Ever hopeful,
Penny
I am grateful for my beautiful and creative daughter who has grown up to be a strong, independent young woman. She's an inspiration to myself and others.
Thank you so much for the opportunity to win one of your lovely bracelet kits Kaari.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I would love to be able to give this to my youngest daughter who received a distinction in both art and history and is studying hard in her final exams.

i would love to be able to give this to my sister in law. She has been battling ill health for way too long and it would be a wonderful lift for her
I've been visiting attendees blogs and enjoying their energy and class projects and of coarse, fabulous pics..my thanks would be to my darling daughter..she is a very busy mom of 3 girls of which she home schools, has her own business and a sweet booth at an antique shop and still makes time to hang out with her mom, now that's my kind of super and passionate woman! Your Sweet bracelet will look fabulous on your pick for the Bella fling sweet treat!
I am thankful for the people we run across from time to time who are genuine, compassionate and kind. Who connect to humankind without judgement or prejudice. As I read many of these art blogs I get the sense that this is a community of people who fit this description. Wishing you peace and happiest of Holidays!
I would like to thank my daughters who have helped me through the most difficult 12 months of my 33 year marriage.
Alison
Well,
gee, this is difficult.
I'd really love to thank my husband for always encouraging and supporting me, even if he didn't always "GET" what I was doing.
I'd also love to thank all of the wonderful women in blogland for making me feel like part of a community and being so generous, and you for always being so sweet and welcoming when I visit the store. (I'm not sucking up, really!!) :-)
I hope your Thanksgiving is truly wonderful.
Thank you
Cari B.
I am thankful to my daughter for exhibiting a little sense [which I remember can be difficult at her age] and doing the right, responsible thing this weekend. I am so proud of her.
I would thank my sisters for being so nice to me and my best friends.
Thanks.
This bracelet is gorgeous!!!
My daughter had been a huge help over the past few weeks. She desperately wanted to come to Silver Bella (but she is only 7). She helped me pack items for Vendor Night, planned activities for her and her little sister while I was away, and helped me unpack when I returned! She is such a sweetie! She'd love this bracelet!
I would like to thank my mother-in law who faithfully took me to chemo treatments while my mother was in rehab with a painful knee replacement. I could always count on her for any extra help with dinner, my kids, anything.
Kathy G.
I would like to thank my daughter who has a big heart and who has hardly given me a day of trouble since she was born. We have always been close and now that she is older, we are more like best friends.
Dear Kaari, I just returned from Paris with Lisa Quan and attended the Marie clair show. Your wonderful fabic was being sold in almost every booth! They love it and was so happy to own some myself. Your new line is beautiful. Fondly chickie Ricciardi.
My daughter is pregnant and is really having a lot of stress with things in her life these days. I'd love to win and hope it makes her a little bit happier.
My mom deserves my thanks. Her discipline and endurance to stay the course and raise her daughters right is why we all turned out as contented adults/wives/moms. She never got side tracked by materialism, peer pressure, selfishness, or self-pity. The older I get and try to be like her, the harder it is and it makes me appreciate even more just how special she is.
I would like to thank my sister, she is always there to help me, or listen to me. And she is a blessing to my life. She deserves many thanks!
Love the charm bracelet, it’s adorable.
So sweet of you to do this ~ thank you.
I am thankful to my Mama ~ my best friend. Always there to stand by my side, listen to my secrets, giggle together, create art together and taught me to be a strong woman.
May you and your family have a wonderful holiday! Lis
My sister is going through a very tough time in her life - finances are straining her positive nature to the breaking point. I'd love to be able to make her such a cheery bracelet as a symbol that this too shall pass.
I would like to thank my supervisor, who understands perfectly the importance of having a life outside of work and of making time for creative pursuits. We take periodic "mental health" mini-breaks to muse on travel, cooking and art. She is wonderful!
I am thankful for my children and grandchildren. I am thankful for my friend Nancy. She's going through a rough patch right now, but she is always doing for others.
Darlis
I'm thankful for my mom. She taught me how to craft: beading, sewing, knitting, crochet. She loves French General and would so enjoy this bracelet. :)
I have to thank my four kids who never cease to amaze me! And my partner, Jim, who makes me laugh. And sometimes, complete strangers who offer kindness when I need it most! I really like reading your blog! Jamie V in MT

I would love to thank my sister who has been a tower of strength over the past 18months since my beloved husband decided he wanted to be a single man again and left me devastated. I wouldn't have got through it without her help.
for my dear sweet daughter Meg - always there to help, to listen, to lighten the load! I am so Thankful she's my daughter!
I would make the bracelet for my Mother-in-Law who has always treated me as a true daughter and made me feel loved and accepted.
I would make a bracelet for GOOD LUCK and thanks to my friend Dorrie who has been out of job even longer than I have. She always encourages me when I am feeling down!
I would like to thank you for being so generous to offer this lovely surprise. I would also like to thank my family of being so supportive of my crafty hobbies.
I'm thankful for my dear Uncle Steve. The last on my Father's side. He keeps the family together and all the cousins apprecaite and love him so. Because of him, I had a big cousin party this summer. It was wonderful. There is nothing like family !!!!

My sister is who I would like to thank. She is my best friend and always there for me.
I thank my husband for supporting all my artistic endeavors!
I would thank Pat, a friend who helps me thru the low points in my life. After I've been talking to her, I will always feel better. Guess you always need someone to listen and not judge.
i was right: 56
U know what? I hadn't though about it for sometime.
Who would I be most thankful to? I think my Mother.
I'm the oldest and deaf, but she also had 6 other deaf
kids. 7 our of 9 of Mom's kids are deaf. Most deaf
didn't get an education in the 50's, 60's, and 70's. My
mom was told at the John Tracy Clinic that "your kids
will never amount to much....they will never read a book
nor have a good job." This made Mom very angry,
her comment was "Bull S". She left the clinic and headed
straight to the library, and made everyone get a
library card. and take home several books each.
today all of us have good jobs and self worth. Today
when I meet people that can't read, I think of our Mom.
And remember how she worked hard at helping us
pronounce words properly. Most people can't
believe that we are deaf. We own Mom for this a Giant
thank you.

I would thank my sister-in-law who is the ultimate comforter. Need an ear to listen, call Sassy. Need to tell someone how great your kids are, call Sassy. Need to complain about how unfair life is, call Sassy.
I have been truly blessed with a perfect sister-in-law.
i know it sounds cliche, but my mom. she has given so much and blessed me in so many ways. thanks
WOW what a wonderful offer! I would love love love to thank both our Mothers. Our Dads have passed much to young for these fine ladies but boy oh boy are they still here and kicking! My daughter,Abbey, was born on
Thanksgiving Day fourteen years ago. I have been blessed with a
beautiful daughter who is the sunshine in my life. Not only is she the best daughter a mother could ever ask for, she is also my
best friend. The bracelet is lovely......just like Abbey!!
I would like to thank my wonderful mother for all her patience and love. She is a woman to be admired.
Oh my! What a generous offer and after reading some of the comments, I don't envy your job in choosing! The bracelet is lovely and I would love to give one to my little "pretend" daughter. I have two fine boys but neither would like this I fear, but I kept my friend's daughter when she was tiny and she became my little "pretend" daughter. She is now in school and I miss her terribly and she me, so I would like to give her this little token reminding her that wherever she is, she carries my heart with her.
I would love to thank my toughest writing teacher in college who truly believed in me. She allowed me to take myself seriously as a journalist.
I think it's interesting that so many of the comments have followed along the same lines. The first person I thought of, as well, was my Mom. She raised 8 children and never quit. I think of friends who have blessed my life, strangers who I remember, aunts who are struggling with cancer, and others who are having a hard time. But I must also say that reading the comments gave me hope. I am also a mother of 8 children and sometimes what I do feels so unappreciated. It cheered me to hear others say how grateful they are for their mothers, a reminder that our unnoticed efforts have meaning. Thank you everyone!
There are several women in my small community who I would like to thank. They are always the first to step up and volunteer, whether they are busy or not. I admire their time management skills, dedication and volunteerism to make it all happen! I, myself, cannot seem to make it all happen so I admire them more than they will probably ever know!
I'm thankful that my dear husband chose me as his wife. Should I win, he won't wear the bracelet, but our lovely daughter will.
My grandma has had a very rough year with the death of my uncle and my grandfather facing risky surgery. I thank her for all the wonderful meals, teaching me how to cook, and for all those long summer days playing at her house with my cousins.
Gorgeous bracelet. I am a sucker for charms. I would like to thank my Grandmother, for caring for me, teaching me the value of making things with your hands, and to always give.
I am thankful for my family, for my husband who survived a heart attack at age 46, and for being able to attend Silver Bella this year.
Lisa
I'd like to thank the women of my family for starting me on a lifelong crafting path.
- My mom by leading by example (one of my toddler memories is playing under her loom as she wove) and by not letting me watch TV unless I was doing something with my hands, which resulted in my learning various handcrafts.
- My maternal grandmother who taught me embroidery at age 5 and machine sewing on great-grandma's Singer treadle at 10.
- My aunt who made me elegant doll clothes and got me started on electric machines at 12.
- My Dad's mom who shared her love of fashion, sewed like a pro, and fed my fabric lust.
Thank you all!
I would thank my husband- he's given me 30 wonderful years so far and I pray we've got another 30 together!
I would give Thanks to a dear friend that I have never met in "real" life, and she has been there for me when I needed a shoulder.

A good friend who is going through breast cancer but still manages to be supportive and loving to everyone around her. (and thanks for the chance to win).
That is a very charming giveaway!
I would like to thank my sister and brother-in-law. Today, I received the most wonderful gift from them--a laptop computer so I can keep in touch with them while they are living overseas.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Oh, what a lovely bracelet; I would love a chance to try and make it. I am thankful for my daughter who has gone back to school to further her education. She takes care of my 3 GRANDsons, works partime and is doing very well in school. I admire her determination and lovliness. I am her mother but she is a special young woman.
I loved making the bracelet at Silver Bella! I have made 4 since, and just placed a big order the other day so I can make more, I am a little obsessed! Beyond my family that I am so thankful for, I give thanks for my friend Amy who keeps me sane during work hours via instant messaging :) I would definitely make the bracelet for her! And thanks to you!
I'm thankful for my sister-in-law. She goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and special, but is especially good with children and teens. Since my family is quiet and reserved, for the most part, she's been a breath of fresh air. She has been wonderful with my 14-year-old son. He's an only child with no cousins his age, which means family gatherings can be lonely for him. Amy makes him feel included, and I can't say how thankful I am that she makes time for him. I will never be able to repay her generosity of spirit, but the bracelet would be a start.
I would thank my mom. She has taught me everything and been my biggest supporter. She is bravely battling cancer right now. She is truly and inspiration.
Looks like everyone had a great time at Silver Bella, I would of loved to have gone and taken a class from you. Hopefully I can head to French Gen. soon. I would like to thank my elederly neighbor Mary Lou, she is paralyzed on one side and uses a scooter to get around and she does this all whild living ALONE! We love her....and thank her for all that she does for us and the neighborhood.
Hmm. Who would I like to thank. Oh! My friend, Victoria! Even though we have totally different belief systems and politics, we have a wonderful friendship. She has been so supportive of me as I struggle with infertility and all the accompanying ups and downs.
I wish to thank my friend, Jane and her sweet DH, for always being there for me. I don't know what I'd do without them! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!
I am thankful for the freedoms and its associated traditions that this wonderful land presents and for those who fight to keep it free.
I give thanks to my all mighty god and to my son and his wife and my two grandchildren....and to the rest of the family and to my hubby who has the patience it takes to be married to me. Thanks for listening..Lisa
I would like to thank my beautiful, spirited, 26-year-old daughter, who embodies the strong, independent, creative young women of her generation. I thank her for inspiring me daily, to believe that I, too, can still achieve anything, be anything, and do anything I want to, even at age 49.
They say that if you never enter, you can't win. I'll spare you the sad stories that have been the last year. I just love you're style, finally found some of your fabric and would just love the sight and sounds of your bracelet.
-Barbara
i would like to thank my mother-in-law for being the most wonderful 'fill-in' for my mother who passed 5 years ago...she is the most wonderful, giving, and charming lady i know...i would love to make this charm bracelet for her as a token from my heart and hands for mother's day 2010.
