Download our banner instructions and letter G diagram HERE

We designed four quilts for our new collection, Le Bouquet Francais.  Each quilt was lovingly hand-sewn and quilted by our talented group of quilting ladies....I am always amazed when these quilts arrive and every one is more beautiful than the next...I hope you enjoy them!

Order any of our quilting patterns  HERE

We also started a collaboration with a wonderful haberdashery and fabric store in Melbourne, Australia, called L'Uccello.  L'Uccello has designed a wonderful set of sewing accessories using our fabric collection.  Inside each pattern is a full size pattern that you can use to make up these lovely beauties.
I was introduced to L'Uccello by a mother-daughter team who come to France with us each summer...they own a lovely quilting shop (also in Australia!) called Hettie's Patch. I love it when the perfect opportunity happens and everyone comes together at just the right moment...that's what happened with L'Uccello....and we are looking forward to their upcoming Petite Patterns in the future!

Order our Petite Pattern with L'Uccello HERE

We also designed a special quilt kit that is only available through French General and only if you act fast...

Order our Bouquet Bleu Quilt Kit HERE

Thanks to Moda, I have a handful of giveaways to accompany this blog hop, as well as some cute fabric button bracelets, so go ahead and leave me a comment about your favorite new GADGET...I am always looking for the next big thing to help my sewing!  Sofia will choose the lucky winners within the week and we will send out some prizes! Thanks for playing along!

My newest is the green handled Karen Kay Buckley small scissors. She has a great line of scissors so if yo haven't any in your notion line-up please give them a try.

I;m sure this is more of an essential than a gadget - but my rotary cutter! I would not, could not be a quilter without it.

Connie said...

My favorite is my seam ripper with the rubber end. It really gets the thread out so no more picking!

Carolina woman said...

I have always liked the tube style containers -- made of wood or plastic -- for keeping my specialty needles safe. I think that a folder or stand with several of these needle holders would be a great idea.

Sorcha girl said...

The GADGET I use the most lately is a seam ripper with a sickle like blade. Super-thin and super-sharp to slide under stitches to correct
HST mistakes. Practice makes perfect they say and I'm practicing lots. How romantic your fabric designs!! Blue is my favorite color. Thank you for the chance to win some fabric.

I am in love with your newest fabrics, but then I've loved ALL your fabrics! My favorite gadget are Snippers - Those tiny little spring type "scissors" I use them instead of my old seam ripper. The blades are small enough to fit under the stitches and it's so easy to squeeze them to clip the thread. So much easier and faster! I started using them with machine embroidery, then discovered how useful they are for regular sewing!

Just bought The Binding Tool by TQM products. It has made binding quilts easier.

My new gadget love is the Seams Right seam ripper. Works like a charm. I loved meeting you at quilt market in Houston - you are very inspiring!

Wendy said...

My favourite gadget that goes with me to every retreat or stitching day is That Purple Thang. Small but mighty tool. Great for turning points and corners; works as a stiletto, but easier on the machine if a needle hits it; it has a 1/4" guide at the top and is slotted for running lace or elastic through a hem. Great all around tool for about $3.00! The only way they could improve it, would be to make it in RED instead of purple...lol

I don't remember the exact name of it but it definitely comes in handy -- as will that beautiful FG fabric when it arrives ;) Oh happy days... have a wonderful week! Karen

My favorite gadget has to be my rotary cutter! I have 3 sizes but the 45mm is the one I use most. Love your beautiful fabrics!

Well, it's not so much a help for sewing as it is for cutting. It's a template called 'You Hexie Thing', that lets you cut out various sizes of hexagons, but is clear so you can also fussy cut if you want. There are other hex templates out there, but this one suits me more!

I LOVE your fabric and pattern, they are absolutely gorgeous. My favorite gadget, but it's not new, is the magnetic pin holder. I'd like to say that it's my favorite because it keeps my pins close by, but really it's because I can swipe it over the floor and all the pins that have fallen are magically picked up! Which also makes it my husbands favorite!
