We designed four quilts for our new collection, Le Bouquet Francais. Each quilt was lovingly hand-sewn and quilted by our talented group of quilting ladies....I am always amazed when these quilts arrive and every one is more beautiful than the next...I hope you enjoy them!
Order any of our quilting patterns HERE
We also started a collaboration with a wonderful haberdashery and fabric store in Melbourne, Australia, called L'Uccello. L'Uccello has designed a wonderful set of sewing accessories using our fabric collection. Inside each pattern is a full size pattern that you can use to make up these lovely beauties.
I was introduced to L'Uccello by a mother-daughter team who come to France with us each summer...they own a lovely quilting shop (also in Australia!) called Hettie's Patch. I love it when the perfect opportunity happens and everyone comes together at just the right moment...that's what happened with L'Uccello....and we are looking forward to their upcoming Petite Patterns in the future!
Order our Petite Pattern with L'Uccello HERE
We also designed a special quilt kit that is only available through French General and only if you act fast...

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 400 of 522 Newer› Newest»Red glasses to check value, just fun!
My newest is the green handled Karen Kay Buckley small scissors. She has a great line of scissors so if yo haven't any in your notion line-up please give them a try.
I;m sure this is more of an essential than a gadget - but my rotary cutter! I would not, could not be a quilter without it.
My favorite is my seam ripper with the rubber end. It really gets the thread out so no more picking!
I have always liked the tube style containers -- made of wood or plastic -- for keeping my specialty needles safe. I think that a folder or stand with several of these needle holders would be a great idea.
The GADGET I use the most lately is a seam ripper with a sickle like blade. Super-thin and super-sharp to slide under stitches to correct
HST mistakes. Practice makes perfect they say and I'm practicing lots. How romantic your fabric designs!! Blue is my favorite color. Thank you for the chance to win some fabric.
I love the clover clips. They are great
Shawn

My latest gadget is my twister tool.

My favorite new gadget are Karen Kay Buckley perfect circles ! Oh how I can now applique circles ! Love your fabrics. I am making a wall hanging now using them.
One of my favorite new tools is the new seam gauge put out by Clover...it has multiple uses.

My favorite gadget is the metal stiletto from Elenor Burns shop.
My favorite new gadget is the Q-tools Sewing Edge purple repositionable vinyl tape to mark my quarter inch seam allowance. Thanks for the giveaway! Lana
I am in love with your newest fabrics, but then I've loved ALL your fabrics! My favorite gadget are Snippers - Those tiny little spring type "scissors" I use them instead of my old seam ripper. The blades are small enough to fit under the stitches and it's so easy to squeeze them to clip the thread. So much easier and faster! I started using them with machine embroidery, then discovered how useful they are for regular sewing!
Just bought The Binding Tool by TQM products. It has made binding quilts easier.
Love my Karen Kay Buckley's small scissors, make cutting for appliqué a breeze.
I just got a standing design wall and I love it.
my favorite gadget is the Kwik Klip...saves my fingertips when pin-basting my quilt sandwich!

My favorite new gadget is the clover binding clips. Don't know how I got along without them.
My new gadget love is the Seams Right seam ripper. Works like a charm. I loved meeting you at quilt market in Houston - you are very inspiring!
My favourite gadget that goes with me to every retreat or stitching day is That Purple Thang. Small but mighty tool. Great for turning points and corners; works as a stiletto, but easier on the machine if a needle hits it; it has a 1/4" guide at the top and is slotted for running lace or elastic through a hem. Great all around tool for about $3.00! The only way they could improve it, would be to make it in RED instead of purple...lol
My favorite gadget is my led light.
I really like my glue stick to use with machine binding...it makes it easy!
My favorite new gadget is the Quick Quarter II that Sherri McConnell told us about. It's awesome!

A Lazy Susan cutting board is my latest fun gadget. It's great for cutting out hexagons.
My favorite gadget that is on my wish- list right now is a mini- iron for pressing many little seams without as many casualties to my fingertips.
Binding clips are the best!
I simply cannot live without my "purple thang" - it's a plastic stylette with a pointy end and a flattened end. It's great for feeding fabric through the machine without getting your fingers too close.
39522883235My favorite new gadget is the Curvemaster foot. Really nice.
I love my ott lights. I have one for hand work while sitting on the sofa and one next to my sewing machine. It makes everything bright!

Oh always so in love with French General Fabrics - your patterns are just beautiful and show off those fabrics nicely -- thanks for sharing. At Christmas I bought a new Gadget -- it's a ripper that has a eraser type end on it that easily pulls the ripped thread from the fabric. I don't remember the exact name of it but it definitely comes in handy -- as will that beautiful FG fabric when it arrives ;) Oh happy days... have a wonderful week! Karen
Lynette Anderson has two tools for applique, "Apliquick Rods". I just got them and the glue pen. fat quarter shop sponsored a tutorial with these. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHMi6DrPGRQ Thanks crystalbluern at onlineok dot com
It's simple, but I love my seam ripper. I hope not to make mistakes, but without it, I would be in big trouble!
Cindy Shoop has a new favorite gadget and it is the 1/4" Grip Strips added to my favorite cutting rulers to help hold the ruler in place and not slip as I cut.

Can it be a gadget I want to try? Although, I'm not sure if triangle papers count as a gadget. Still anything to make a hst easier is a win in my book.
My favorite gadget is my rotary cutter. I really don't own many gadgets at all. Thanks for sharing your pattern and banner with us.
My newest favourite gadget is a Crumbler ruler from Miss Rosie -in two sizes - for cutting thimbles. I can see several thimble quilts in my future.
Does the gadget have to start with a "D"? I think my favorite gadget at the moment is my laptop with its internet connection. There are so many wonderful blogs out there which provide so much inspiration. When I can spare the time, I go blog hopping and afterwards feel as though I have been to a quilt show. So fun.

I love your beautiful new line and quilts created from it! My favorite new gadget is the easy dresden ruler by EZ and Darlene Zimmerman. Help, I cant stop making them!
The gadget I am loving right now is my Towa bobbin gauge for my longarm.
Fave new gadget: Darlene Zimmerman's Easy Dresden Template Ruler. It is easy, fast, and fun to blast through my scraps cutting hundreds of wedges to save for future Dresden scrappy projects.

Well, it's not so much a help for sewing as it is for cutting. It's a template called 'You Hexie Thing', that lets you cut out various sizes of hexagons, but is clear so you can also fussy cut if you want. There are other hex templates out there, but this one suits me more!

Thanks for the giveaway! Right now, I love the Hex N More Ruler and Clover Wonder Clips (for bindings).
My favorite gadgets, although not so new, are wonder clips and the binding "ruler"
My new fav quick point rulers. Love them & your fabric
I find my small rotating cutting mat from fiskars to be my favorite new tool. It increases my accuracy and safety by allowing me to turn the mat and not pick up the fabric pieces.
New to me is the Sewline Fabric Mechanical Pencil made by White. These pencils are terrific!!!
first and foremost your fabric is amazing! I don't think there is one I don't like. I have many. so keep up the beautiful work. One of my favorite gadgets is the Bloc Loc ruler. you can make 1/2 square triangles in no time. they even have flying geese now as well. if you search them on google there is a video demo.
My favorite gadget is my seam ripper. :(. Clover is the best I've found.
My favorite tool is the Omnigrid quilters travel case. I use it every day and bring it everywhere with me. It is perfect to keep all your hand work in and when sitting somewhere stitching it is my tabletop. I love it.
My new gadget is washable markers for making lines. Cheap and they wash out what's not to love.
My newest favorite tool is my Clover Hera Marker. I used it to help with my half square triangles. Works great.
I am not a quilter however I do adore fabrics and yours are gorgeous. My hands are my favorite tools that allow me to create. Joyful Bliss...
The cutting gizmo to cut threads when chain sewing. I also love my clover seam rippers.
My favorite gadget right now is 7" Dovo scissors I ordered from Primitive Gatherings Quilt Shop.
My sew line pencil. Goodness Gracious it makes me Giddy! Thank you for all the glorious fun :) Janita
I just started using Clover U shaped pins...LOVE THEM. Very fine, very sharp and they hold down both sides of a seam.
Thanks for the opportunity. I love your fabrics, patterns and jewelry! Oh, me oh my! Do I?! It's a little scary when my 13 year old boy can identify FG fabric from being dragged along to quilt stores . My. Favorite new gadget is a sharp pair of thread snips. So much easier than scissors!
Karen Kay Buckley's "Perfect Circles" and "Perfect Ovals."
