Here we are...doing it all over again! After our first Moda fabric collection, Rouenneries, was such a wonderful surprise, we thought....why not do it again? We've picked out the best prints and added a handful of new designs all in classic shades of juicy reds (Penny's description), faded reds, dusty hemps and tea stain - with a bit of blue and grey touches thrown in to freshen things up. We've even added a cheater cloth - a patchwork design using some of our favorite prints.
I'm getting a little ahead of myself, since Rouenneries Deux won't be in quilt shops until March 2012.... but, thanks to Moda, I have a handful of precuts that I would love to giveaway - so you can get a head start on your favorite Rouenneries projects. If you worked with the original Rouenneries, released in Fall 2009, you know that this collection of fabric is perfect for quilts, clothing and home accessories. This fabric is so gorgeous. thank you for bringing it back a second time. My second time around story involves a little girl given up for adoption 33 years ago. We have been reconciled and are celebrating our second time around with so much of the Lord's grace and mercy.

For the first go around I stood no chance against my group of quilting friends who would end up arguing over who would get the last few bundles that were left at any given quilt store we happened to be at (and there was always just a few left).Needless to say I never got any of it.
So I thought it would be very nice if for the second go around I could have some bundles before any of them even had a chance. I so hope I win because I do love your fabrics and would love to have some!

I am making a quilt called the French Generals Mistress with a group of friends. Many did not have enough fabric, so I have lent a few treasures, but am now not sure if I will have enough for mine!! So second time around purchasing will be fun for me!

Second time around? Quilting again after 24 years off! It's so much better now with more fabrics to choose from, more patterns, and rotary cutters!
The first Rouenneries collection was my top favourite EVER - how can I wait for these to reach the UK?!
I have so many ideas for using this fabric! However, will it make it to the UK? Second time around? Going back to school at 55 and achieving a First Class BA(Hons) in English Literature.
