Pom Pom de Paris is all about the very first Rose Show held in Paris in the 19th century. The blue ribbon went to the most beautiful rose - for color, small and form - Pom Pom de Paris was the winner! The colors of our new line are vibrant and beautiful - perfect for Spring! In addition to the old reds, there are touches of soft pink, pale yellow and beautiful grassy greens. I've already started to work with some of the sample yardage - and Penny is fast at work on a beautiful baby quilt with the sweet bird pattern.
I'm ready to send out a few bits to test the waters. Leave me a comment about your color mood these days and we'll pick a lucky winner or two for a box of Pom Pom fabric. Bonne Chance!

My colour mood is still firmly aligned to your previous lines, since I am currently elbows deep in a kaleidoscope quilt using RJ, Rouenneries and LdeN! But Pom Pom looks quite pretty, and I'm certainly open to new colourways!
Lately my color mood is Red, Ivory, Blue and a bit of Cheddar. I do like cheery colors (a lot!) but most of all especially love the old and decrepit. I think for me it's the homey, familiar, 'that's how quilts are supposed to look' feelling I get when I look at quilts made from fabrics that have a sense of history. Love them!! ~~Lisa
I'm in a strangely turquoise mood lately, paired with linens and whites. I look forward to the debut of the new line!
I've found myself aligned with very traditional fall colors lately - the golds, reds, greens, and browns - the warms. The Pom Pom colors look so yummy, I may have to get out some different colors for painting, sewing & wearing - they made me smile!
Mine at the moment is stillin reds/ yellow and golds/ but I am seeing blues and white comming in. HUGS MARY
THESE ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!
MY MOOD, LATELY HAS MOVED TOWARD SOFTER REDS,OLIVES AND CREAMS.THANK YOU FOR SHARING,LOVE,LINDA

To be honest, I love everything that you put out. The colours and patterns are perfect for the quilts I make for weddings: pleasing to the women and the men alike.
I'm excited about the new colour lines for a medallion quilt I've been planning but haven't found the perfect French fabrics yet.
This group looks a little more like 3 Sisters than French General. Pretty though. Our store is pretty saturated with the previous lines. We have bought and sold tons from all of your previous lines and love how they work together and so nicely move from one collection to the next. I have been begging for (and have asked you before) for that Restoration Hardware look of hempy linen textures in shades of tans and taupes. I'd love to see you incorporate those tags and labels from your previous post. I love stamped, fadded french words on textured fabric. A collage of tags and labels with a splash of indygo and red. Not a huge line. Oh, and maybe some of those trims from your swatch cards and more ribbon with french words. If you read my blog you can see how we have used your collections and see some ideas of what I'd like you to do.
I just want to thank you for opening that door to Moda and the quilting world. It's been a wonderful few years with you on board!
Merci
I love your new fabrics!
I'm in a brown mood these days. I love Autumn, especially with the lovely sunny weather we have now. But the days are shortening, the dark months are ahead of us, and therefor I'm starting to work with (and wear) darker colours again, with dark brown as my favourite colour at the moment.
Wow! What a lovely fabrics. I'm in for every colour if it's not to bright.
Debby
The fabrics are very pretty, I love the color combinations...they work well together.
The fabrics are gorgeous! I've lately been into more bright colors myself. I'd love to win some Pom Pom!
My colour mood always includes pinks, reds and deep creams and greens. I'm still working on a project with some Rouenneries and don't want to finish it as it is such beautiful fabric to work with!!
I have loved every design line with the colors and patterns. I would enjoy opening the box of fabric and dreaming of all the yummy sewing projects.
I always enjoy your fabrics - they are lovely, classy and soothing to work with. I admit I am partial to your classic colors, but I really like the pinks you've included in this new line. Right now I'm working on Christmas gifts so my "color mood" is definitely red + green!
My color mood is always red :) Anything in red makes me happy and comfortable. But fall is the only exception, I really enjoy cheddar/orange x black for this time of every year. Your new fabric like looks so beautiful!!
My colour mood is mostly pumpkin with a little bit of yellow and red as hints. But of course that depends where I'm looking in my house. Watery turquoise is also in my mind's eye.
J'aime assez ces tissus. Send them to me (in the U.S.) so I can take a closer look. :-)
My color mood is always in your previous fabrics.....but, the Pom Pom series really reminds me of a summer day in Provence. I don't think it is over the top cheery and had a more subdued fresh spring/summer look to me.
I'm in love with every collection you've produced, and this one is no exception. Yes, the colors do look more like spring and summer, but they are beautiful as well. My color senses seem to change with the seasons--I'm really enjoying working with fall colors right now--muted browns and reds.
I'll bet you'll like them more in the spring than you do now. Fall and winter always mean darker colors to me.
I work in waves... sometimes everything is duckegg/cream... then again a total rouenneries/lumiere/rural jardin mode, with the blues and the reds separated (i'm funny like that). Strangely enough I found a 'lost' rouenneries FQ in my LQS, stuck on its own in a box of bright colours, so I had to rescue it and it came home with me to live with the half yds who are waiting patiently till I get to them. Then I get a total colour wave and the brights are flying out of the door... but I always come back to chic and I must say, Pom Pom is maybe a little brighter than of late, but that doesn't bother me in the least, the lovely creams and greens are gorgeous, and it is always good to have a bit of everything isn't it? Variety is the spice of life.
Still A very red girl myself and love that you have some toile prints in their again. A girl can never have too much toile- VERY FRENCH and very FRENCH GENERAL.
I do love the aged reds & naturals of your fabric lines, but here in midwest winter will soon be coming and there is nothing better that sewing some bright cheer fabric when it is blizzarding out! (so I think you made a good choice!)
My mood has changed recently to very grey/purple and blues. Not in keeping with the current autumn tones around me!
Love lots of bright colours but think that maybe due to the fact that we are in Provence on vacation at present.
Leeann x
It's spring here in Australia and so those slightly springier colours are appealing to me at the moment. That being said I'm making a quilt with Lumiere de Noel with a bit of Rouenneries at the moment and I just love the creams and reds. You do the best reds!! Pom Pom de Paris is such a fun name!!!
Too happy...I would be too happy to be included in your give-away. I mean, please count me in. Tickled pink I will be...
Thank you.
I don't have a consistent color mood; it depends on the context (clothes? furnishings? website colors?). I like most reds, with the exception of orangey reds, and most pinks, with the exception of hot pink. I like muted blues and grays.
The only color that I dislike almost universally is yellow. And I hate orange for clothes.
i like to think my color mood is uplifting and cool. yet when i look in my closet, the fabric i chose, my pillows and things around the house i tend towards earth tones. i would love to reach out and try something new. who knows maybe this will be the lucky day. thanks for the chance!
The new colourways are very nice!!! Sometimes the colors can look muddy if the values are the same. This collection will definitely kick things up a notch!!! I like the eclectic, collected over time look!!!
Ruth Ann
I just love all pretty fabric and that first picture took my breath away. I am waiting for you latest line to hit the stores - sometimes its hard to wait.....
My colour mood these days is deep reds, creams and the stormy greys of a tropical thunderstorm. I love all your fabrics and have every range. I would love to win the Pom Pom range.
When winter is coming up... I am totally absorbed by the colour Pink.. dont know why... must be a perfect match.. The white against... lovely pinks.. makes my heart sing..:O))
The new fabric line looks just wonderful... have sewn with two fabric lines.. and every one have come out just wonderful.. and I know this one will be as pretty!!
I am looking out my window and enjoying the beautiful yellow, orange and red leaves.
Kaari
I would luv to see the fabrics in real life...I really do like pink, but I am picky about the pink I like...lol
I have been into a soft color mood, cream, aqua, and pale pink but yesterday was drooling over your lumiere de noel collecting, thinking it would be perfect for my December Daily album/journal.
Keeping my fingers and toes crossed.
Catherine
I'm a bit all over the board lately. Fall has me in the mood for rich caramels and browns tempered with muted sky blue, but I've also been drawn to happy, clear colors too--preppy green and navy blue, with a touch of lavender, fuchsia and butter yellow.
I cannot seem to leave behind my earthy browns, dull mustards with shades of black and creamy vanilla and always a blend of those muddy reds...BUT I am willing to change! The Pom Pom colors a beautiful!
I am still in my red phase, from brights to earthy reds. I love the dusky blue and aquas that tone with them. I have most of something in all of your ranges and love the way they can work together.
I'm entrenched in spring/summer colours here as we wait for warm sunny weather after a long, windy and wet winter. I'm yearning for yellows, reds and summery blues, sunshine, roses and summer skies ....sigh, soon......
I do love those new fabrics, scrumptious..!!

With autumn colour here I'm ready for the clear bright, but slightly muddy colours of fall. Though I've been working with Maison de Garance and it had just felt so right lately!
You certainly have comments to read and ponder. The pull of French General is the elegance of prints and colors. Since there are many FG collections out there we have seen that they can be used together. This is a plus as well. No, not all 40 fabs work with all new ones but there some work very well together. Very nice for this quilter who often does not finish a quilt before the next group arrives. Makes finding backs and bindings nice.
This Pom Pom group is different but beautiful patterns and nice colors. I can see myself taking some of them and creating a quilt with some prior FG fabric that is "waiting".
I love the colours in your previous lines. I always drawn straight to them if I see them in a fabric store! But looking at some of the new colours I can see a quilt for my little girl as she moves frmo a cot to her "big" bed...
Beautiful range!!
My colour of the moment would have to be a soft aqua as that is going to be the basis of my dream kitchen.
The cream/red combo is a winner in my creative imagination though. Linens and cottons.
my goodness! what beautiful colors. Your fabrics just scream "take me home". My color mood is in the fall mode right now, probably because the leaves are starting to turn colors.
Golds, brunt orange, dark red and all ranges in between.
My color mood is always cool grays, purples, and sage green. I adore gray as a neutral and am saving up a bunch from Rouenneries. I am ready to dive into a project with Maison de Garance though so I'll be in a rouge et brun mood. Thanks for the great giveaway and thanks for all your wonderful fabric lines.
I think it is lovely! Sometimes it is nice – and good for the soul – to take a step away from what is comfortable and familiar. I almost always lean toward very bright, clear colors, but I adore your fabric lines for their vintage look.
Oh I know what you mean. Once in a while I drift into brighter colours if I am working on says florals or a gift.I get it out of my system for a while but it does often impact and expand the creative ideas for the next project or even one down the road. I usually work with a more faded, more muted pallette to give the illusion of instant heirloom or antique.
As it is spring here right now, these new colours look absolutely perfect to me. My favorite though - the colours I always return to are the blues and ivories with a touch of old red (rose madder).
All of your ranges have been lovely, sometimes we need to move past what we have become too familiar with in order to appreciate our favourites with fresh eyes.
Keep up your wonderful work, please.
Nice job but we all love your original reds and blues so very much! It's what makes you unique!
Connie P.
I love everything you've done so far, and will get this one, too! My color mood has turned to fall, but all of my moods have some shade of red in it. The darker reds you have here are perfect for the fall/winter!
You just keep outdoing yourselves. It is glorious looking fabric. Count me in!
Mary
Kaari, I just adore all your fabrics!....At the moment, I am using some of the fabrics from your Christmas line to re-do our small upstairs bedroom!...It all is coming together quite nicely,...very quaint, very charming!...Just as all your fabrics are!...Wishing you a delightful Autumn!...Your friend, Heidi XO
I also like these muted reds and linen tones. Very traditional and timeless.
Color! Today my favorites are a hyacinth and apple green resting on a bed of neutral linen. Tomorrow, well, you will have to wait and see.
My color mood? Always the classic linen and brick, with a dash of sage. But recently, I have think it's fun to lighten those up with a pinch of peachy/pink, bit of buttercream yellow, and a splash blue.
I love your fabrics. Thanks for inspiring me to get back to my sewing machine, after a several yr. hiatus.
My colour mood would improve immensely with those happy colours in my sewing room, considering we woke up to snow Friday morning. Sunny colours would be wonderful.
Oh it's fall so my colors are leaning
to oranges, golds and browns! Orange
is such a happy color. Love your new fabrics - they truly are beautiful.
Kaare, I love your fabrics..and those colors are fabulous. go with your first instinct ;)
I am in the mood for fall colors...oranges, greens, yellows, deep purples...my favorite time of the year!! I do like your new color palette. Sometimes you need a little change for fun...but I have a feeling that I will always like your fabrics no matter the color palette.
I'm in a mood for rich, vintage type fabrics. Reds, greens and yellows. And some orange. Never used to like orange but it is growing on me.
I really like the new line Kaari - especially the pinks. Pinks and taupes are my favourites right now but I can still fall for just about any grey around! I can't wait til these new ones hit the shelves!
Kaari - I love the new colors...but since I use it for mixed media instead of quilts, I may have a different view...if it is a little too bright, I can always tone it down with tea dye or ink...easier for me than jewelry...LOL...cannot wait to see the fabric ...happy fall - Nonnie
With the days getting cooler and shorter, I am drawn to deep blues, creams and browns. The new line looks beautiful to me and I can't wait to see it in quilt.
Pom Pom de Paris is beautiful--I love the pinks!!!
My color mood lately is a lot of aqua blue and red and white.
Merci
my color mood... well, its remininscing of my trip abroad a few years back.... Grey, Rose and Green, I loved visitng Ireland and then there's my Paris mood Grey, Reds and Florals... I loved the Cafe's and flower stalls in Paris...Yummy Coffee, must admit I adored the crepe stalls too with raspberry jam crepes... yummo... ate to many..LOL... Love your new range.. adorable... very chic..
my color mood, is for those beautiful pinks and yellows that you've got right there!!!
i have all of your lines of fabric and i love them all, and this one is no exception.
you're going to love seeing things made from this gorgeous fabric kaari!
congratulations, it's beautiful
My colour mood at the moment is the brighter almost garish reproduction fabrics. That said I am also loving the more subdued reds, cremes & beige's - those antique hues.Your new line would fit in beautifully.
Ellen
I think Pom Pom is lovely. Everything you do is wonderful!! But my all time favourite will probably always be Rouenneries. That colourway was heaven!
I love the lines you have put out before, but this one is also speaking to me. I am always enamored with anything pink and green. I think its the promise of Spring that those two colors symbolize. This collection looks like that to me.
I'm in love with pastel colors like pink, blue, yellow, green...
Those fabrics are gorgeous!
And thanks for the chance.
Now I have seen these pictures, I feel decidedly "blue", at least my wallet will. I love the colours, the softer palette is lovely with the beautiful signature french general red. It's my pallete, my colours and how I feel.
I know what you mean about the color! But the line looks very pretty! Love the name! It would make a lovely girls quilt!!!!!
My colormood is totally Autumn... Not that I'm depressed or anything, but I just love those warm colors.
My color mood is right now brown and rustic colors because of this autumn season.
When I'm expecting spring, I love light colors.
But I always love red and ivory combination.
My color mood is warm right now since fall is upon us and winter will be here soon. This is not my favorite time of year but I do love all of the fall colors. The fabrics are beautiful!
Oh color moods! I have become absorbed by pinks and reds of late. Pink chiffon blouses cascading in layers of ruffles, rich red linen table clothes, pink and burgundy plaid wood coats, red tinted stockings under a black coctail dress, pink frosty lip glazes, cheery red baker's aprons...... delightful!!
Lately my color mood has been squarely planted in drab Civil War prints as I just completely a postage stamp quilt using these fabrics.
I'm ready for a change!
Thanks for the chance to win.
At the shop we all love the greys and rich reds you have always done. They are so popular and we can't keep the pre-cuts in-store! I personally love the vintage feel you always put in your fabrics so whatever color way it is, I love it!
My colors have been the colors of your latest pallete for quite some time. Love visiting you shorp. I'm looking forward to my next trip!!
I L-O-V-E them all! The colors of my living room are red, yellow, and sage. I am so happy when surrounded by these cheerful, bright colors!
Colour mood... Hmm, good question. When I'm making a quilt, the one thing it generally has is plenty of neutrals/greys, though I don't think of those as being part of the colour mood somehow. Been in a red mood for a while, with blue popping in too, though any pretty fabric like PomPom will keep my colour mood very happy!
I'm loving gray with everything.
My color mood seems to always be brights but then the muddy colors of all your lines appeal to me too. I guess I am very eclectic and just love COLOR!
Seem to be loving the pale greys and linens still, but sometimes with a gentle use of color thrown in-which your fabrics are perfect for. I, too, would love to see you do a naturals collection-with the same french influences.
They look perfectly delicious to me!! Inspiring colours, designs and textures....
Oh, I will always love stained / faded / old looking. Also love Pennsy Dutch colors :-). Pom Pom is gorgeous!
I have not even cut into Maison de Garance yet. I will be using leftover RJ, Rouen, and Luminere for a kaleidoscope quilt. I am always in the mood for anything vintage looking.
I'm more of a bright clear colours type of girl but I love the use of grey that really came through with Rouenneries.
Pom Pom has an absence of grey and the tea stain brown and it looks even lovelier for it.
The soft clear colours are
reminiscent of a French printemps more than anything else - love the duck egg blue and the pale yellow!
My current color mood is brown, but I am easily swayed by glimpses of others. I'd like some turquoise and red and cream together.
My color mood is one of sparkling, crisp color. I'm sewing a black and white.
My color mood lately has been mustards and golds must be the the color of the leaves. The Pom Pom line is very beautiful like all of your fabric!
looks beautiful like all your other collections. whatever you dont like- send this way.
I love all of your fabrics but I think this new line is just perfect for some of the quilts that I like to do. How perfect. Thanks for sharing your creativity.
I am enjoying previous lines, but my color mood after looking at your new line......I do love to quilt but have been using french general to make Marie Antoinette inspired aprons. So after looking at your new line I can see the pinks going really well with some white muslin lace and some black french ticking.....ooh la la, can't wait for new line to hit stores, it is lovely.
My colors are showing up as I decorate my new house, and I keep coming back to red, red and more red. I am throwing some navy in there too...
I like the looks of the new line! France could have put you in the cheery mood!
I agree with you on the colors you like, but all of us need a cheery pick me up once in awhile. I love your little fabric collages. a brown mutt in georgia
My color mood is crisp navy blues, turkey reds, chocolate browns and mossy greens! Love the cheddar and greys, too. Your new lines look great!
My color mood is always in the reds and neutrals. I love linen with a lttle red.
Good luck to all. Sandy
My color mood lately has been brown, ivory, orange, reds, yellow, green...all the colors of the changing of the trees here in Northern Illinois.
Red. My color mood is always red with aqua and black or brown. And in toile of course! Thank you for offering such a fabulous giveaway-I'd love to win it!
My color mood is cheery even when I am not in a cheery mood. I
like pink and red and brights because they lift me up. I think
those fabrics are just wonderful!
i just rec'd my maison de garance, so i guess you can say i am in a brown/red/tan color mode! actually, the pink and yellow are brighter than your other lines, but they are still quite beautiful!
I'm in the mood for some mustard and burgundy. The fabrics look very lovely.
My colour mood today is deep mossy greens and suddenly I've begun to notice and appreciate blues. Your colours are beautiful in this line of fabrics.
I love anything in muted vintage colours and soft soft pinks - Pink and Red are my favourite combination at the moment - Teamed up with some linen XX
I just love pinks, I love them with grays and black. One day I will make my roman blinds in my kitchen with some of your fabrics. They are now in a black and white toile--it's getting close to time to change them.
Diane
I am strictly a red, turquoise (dull, not bright), brown, navy and cream lover! Bring them on!!!
Yes, I am a "drab" lover as well.
This fabric is stunning!!! I especially love the pinks!
I like the pink and yellow colors in your Pom Pom fabric! It will allow for different color contrasts in a quilt, but still keep that vintage look.
While the new colors are not the 'norm' that we have come to love in my shop from you, they are still very lovely. I have rarely found a fabric that I don't love, like most, I have my favorites. The new line reminds me of the colors I remember from our visits to France while my husband and I were stationed in Europe in the 70's and 80's.
I am certain they will sell very well.
Jerry
I look forward to seeing Pom Pom in person though I have to admit that I really love the softer, muddier, more vintage look of your previous collections.
But "happy" is good. :)
sublime - memories of faded subtle cloth book backs stacked in shaded corners of the old farm house
My color mood lately has been all about whites and greys.... not sure why. I'm obsessed with tiny grey gingham which i can't seem to find here in the US...but I'd love to color my world with some of these Pom Pom de Paris fabrics! Jamie V in MT
amzanioli@yahoo.com
http://rem-nants.blogspot.com
I'm in the mood for some ivory, pink, brown, golden and olives, I change from time to time, love the colors in the fabrics of the pics :)
I just completed curtains for our family's "atelier" out of the Noel line of the dark red stripes. And I like that dark red as we get into the holidays without being primary red, but a little darker, richer, more subtle color.
Love the photos of the new line! Will be great for Spring projects next year...
Jennifer Salazar
my moods swing every which way and so do my fabrics. would love to "mood" with your new fabrics. oh, a chance to get a box from french general!
My color mood is, and I sincerely state this....any and all colors that are introduced in your new collection. I have been fortunate to have been able to create some wonderful things with your previous lines, and so look forward to Pom Pom de Paris. It will be so lovely, without a doubt! Linda
As the seasons change so does my color mood. We are into Autumn and the various shades of green, gold, orange, brown and burgundy are making their appearance. Your new Pom Pom colors reflect the days of August when gardens are at their fullest. Each FG collection is always wonderful and inspiring. Thanks.
My color mood has to do with the greens, golds and reds of fall. The leaves are so pretty this time of year.
I love the French General fabrics. I like the colors muddy too. Gives it an old world look I guess.
I am into the reds and the neutrals.
Your line of fabric always makes my heart skip a beat. Seriously can spot it across a room. I think these brighter colors are lovely and still look like French General. It would be fun to have some of the bits and pieces of your finds, incorporated into a line. The images and French words.
I want my color mood to be exactly what this line says!! :) happy, go-lucky, and carefree!!! :) thanks for the chance to win!!
I am forever a fan of red and lovely shades of green. But I feel blues taking greens place. Things like this happen every couple of years...but red always stays with me!
I am obsessed with all things fall. I love everything about it, the look, the smell, the taste (everything pumpkin!). But sometimes it is too much of the same. It is a rainy day here in LA and even though I am wearing mostly black I couldn't help but wear my bright red flats. A pop of color makes me a happy girl. This past week I sought out of the last bits of Rural Jardin Belle in Woad Blue all over the internet and sewing stores across the west coast to make curtains for my newly decorated living room. How fun to have those pinks and yellows pop in my mostly blue room!
I've been taken with rusty colors of late: rusts of all shades, dark golden yellows and muddied grays, accented w/ slashes of faded lavender, french blue, and hints of sky or a pop of salmon. Not so much "fall" colors - just what's been appealing to me.
I've also been looking for a woad dying class in the San Francisco Bay Area after seeing the pictures from your french retreat. No luck so far, but hope springs eternal!
Thanks for the new collection.
I'm all over the place at the moment - I think children does that to you - they bring out the bright and kiddy in you rather than the "pre-children" reserved deep reds :-)
My fabric directions are currently leaning towards drab and 'dirty'. Quite into Civil War fabrics no doubt.
However, I still need to make a table topper or a placemat from the Rouenneries and Rural Jardin. A change is always good :)
My colour mood is perfectly alligned with autumn colours. I love autumn, it's my favorite time of year. The leafs on the trees are changing to all shades of red and organge. I love taking our dog Guus for a walk in the forest these days. Guus usually wears his Rural Jardin fabric collar when we go there. I still have some Rural Jardin left in my stash but boy do I want the Pom Pom de Paris too! No fair French General fabrics are hardly available in Holland. I have to order it in the US and wait a week before I can finally use it. It's totally worth the wait though.
ooooh Kari, 'cest tres bonne, magnifique!!!
what a wonderful collection of fabrics, I can hard;y wait 'til they reach our neck of the woods! My colour mood is very definitely every one of these e!
My color mood is both bright and bold AND more traditional and muted. It depends upon the day and the season. Right now, the colors that catch my attention are the deep, muted greyed down colors of autumn foliage and sky. Autumn tree tones of red, brown, biege, and green - mixed with more vibrant fall wild flowers of golden yellow and red-purples. Then, throw into the mix aqua/blue of the fall sky. Guess I just like most colors. Thanks for this giveaway of Pom Pom - know will like it too.
Although I love, love, love your previous lines, I actually like this departure. I am looking forward to seeing it in person.
Regarding a "color mood", the bottom picture you took of the fabrics moves me so much that I am already wondering exactly who I can hire to create throw pillows, curtains, bedding....I am so thankful for your choices and can't wait to see them in stores. My computer monitor doesn't make them look as bright as you are describing but I really can't wait to see them in person! Congrats Kaari, they are all amazing!!!!!
Colors are a daily passion, from the clear bright to the muddy hues..the moods they bring like a cool drink on a warm day or a hot cup of tea on a day when nature itself is muted. I long to play with your new line, it's beauty and colors are refreshing as a cool drink.
Colour moods? They change as you walk through my house and with the seasons. I am going brighter this winter. With a new baby I think I’ll be indoors more with as much winter light as I can coax through the windows. Love the mix... I’ll be ready for more broody colours at the tail end of winter.
My colour mood always is green. Great giveaway! Please count me in!
ooohhh...
my color mood is burgundy
with golden highlights
here
and
there....
:-)
BTW,your fabric makes
me
swoon....
Love the fabric, it is very beautiful. The colour of my mood is orange and yellow. Thanks for the giveaway.
My color mood is usually bright these days. Thanks fo rthe giveaway!
I lived a certain color palet my entire life, especially in my clothing. All pastel, all the time. Then one day a funny thing happened - my hair turned white and suddenly pastels made me vanish. It was quite a challenge to break my old habits and think in brighter tones. Once I accepted it I found it like a breath of fresh air. I was "free" to think in whole new directions. It's good to shake things up every now and then!!
My color palette has long been soft pinks, blues and creams. But lately I have re-discovered the jewel tones -- garnet, amethyst, deep aquamarine and a yummy amber necklace I inherited. These deep colors appeal a lot these days.
~Marilee
Shades of White, shades of grey. I know that sounds boring... but it's simple and elegant. I always love your greys... until then they were so hard to find!
Drab sums it up for me. Your new line is quite lovely, though different. Thank you for offering to share.
I just revamped my kitchen with pinks and greens so that is where I am for now! I really do like just about any color! You new line is wonderful!
I am in a turkey red, beige, and cream mood, perhaps with a little dash of blue, lately. Your current collection, though, looks just as good as your previous ones, color as well as pattern!
I am currently feeling the turquoise and chocolate browns at the moment and am half way through a quilt with your lovely Rural Jardin. Though as it is getting warmer here in Australia I think I will be going towards the yellows and blues of the sun and ocean. Thanks for the chance to win and for producing another line I want to buy!
My colors seem to change with the seasons, but I will always love the neutrals of linens, soft florals, burnt reds and sage greens. And ochres of course. Today I'm into deep purple dahlias in a bright green vase sitting next to orange pumpkins! But I also love brights . . . my favorite room in the house has pear-green walls and a pink sofa!
Lately I've been in a purple mood, it's my favorite and always seems to make me happy.
i used to love the darker colours, but find i love the reds and pastel combinations and with a shot of lime green in for some happiness. i just love the look of the 'older' looking colours and somehow am going more for those also. oh well, i just love fabric and i wont say no to any fabric. love them all xxx
Hope I'm not too late! I love a red and ivory colour theme with maybe a duck egg blue or a pale sage green but love most combinations!
The new fabrics look gorgeous - can't wait!
Barbara
My mood: navy and white - beautiful but slightly lonely and nostalgic. Just moved to a town and missing my favorite fabric shops and best friends. :)
Love, a lonely mountain Shasta
Looking forward to seeing Pom Pom in reality, difficult to make out the colours on this small screen. Either way, congratulations on another line. It's very impressive and you should be proud. I am one hundred percent addicted to the Rural jardin collection and am definitely in a red and blue mode. I find that the reds and fresh blues on white make me want to de-clutter my life and home. Keep up the good work x
The colors look great..i'm already thinking of a zillion quilts to work on with the line....beautiful
I am mostly in love with the reds and pinks. Although I do quilt with other colors, the deep reds make me happy :-)
My colour mood is orange, brown, red and green right now: I'm in the middle of making an autumn quilt.
btw: love the new fabrics!
I just finished a red/blue/cream quilt that I backed with Rouennries General/red.. love it.
pls enter me into your drawing.. and have fun at quilt market..
I have a weakness for red. The new spring fabric line just sings to me with inspiration!
I love so many colors it is hard to pick one mood. However, I can say that I always love your print designs and feel they would be wonderful in any color combination.
RED RED and RED lately. All different tones and shades. Everything I've been picking up has red. The fabric of Pom Pom is gorgeous!!
Red is so my favorite color and the Pom Pom line is Awesome. There is nothing I love more then French general
now that it is heading into winter and dull days, I look forward to bright fabrics... I know, I know, out of season! our new fabric line has some happy colours and great variations! I think the best thing to do sometimes is to get out of the colours you usually use,and stretch into something different - your lines do that for me!
My mood has been scarcited. That's scared & excited. I just left my day job to start my own business. I think that's reddish.
Hi Kari, I just found your website though I've been in love with your fabrics for sometime and also the name. My fondest wish would be to live in Provence. I've even thought about selling my house so I could live there for a few years.
I've always been drawn to red and roses are my birth flower. Red is a punctuation mark in a garden.
What a wonderful name for a fabric line "Pom, Pom de Paris".
Gail :)
Pom Pom de Paris - the name immediately made me think of connotations like flirtatiousness, amour, fun, romance, intrigue, passion and coquettishness and lifted my mood at once (it's been a horrible rainy day today here in Melbourne, Australia, with severe local flood warnings). It made me eager to create, to do something beautiful. I would love to experiment with these fabrics, at the moment I'm thinking of flirty cosmetic pouches for my handbag.... mmmmm....
I love your fabric and love shopping at your store.
